The best practice for getting the EdgeDX SIP Agent to a newer version is setting the version in the Console and letting the Agent Manager update automatically. The Agent Manager checks for a new version every X time, and selecting the latest version in the drop-down and clicking "save agent versions" will auto-update machines with the Agent Manager installed. Reporting Poor Connections in ControlUp
A user asked for suggestions on how to report on user connections with poor latency, signal strength, and RTT. They could utilize the Network Dashboard to report on top bad latency, longest traceroutes, plus pull data from Configuration > Data > device_status and set alarms to alert on select fields. They can also export the data from ControlUp into MS Excel for more complex reporting. Futhermore, more features are in the roadmap to expand reporting in the future. How to Deploy ControlUp Remote DX on IGEL Devices
A user asked about the best or newest way to deploy/update ControlUp Remote DX on IGEL. The Igel firmware release 11.08.230 includes ControlUp Agent 8.1.5.500 and the user asked how to activate this feature. The user was given advice to move away from Real-Time but add them to Edge DX. As of 11.04 and earlier, the user was advised to use a custom partition. There is a bug that prevents the user from connecting after June last year, though. The user can download the ControlUp Remote DX Agent install script for IGEL devices using OS v11.05.152 and test it on OS v11.07.198.

Help With Logging off Issues in Citrix VDA Environments using ControlUp
A user encountered a 'logging off' status in a Citrix VDA environment. After selecting 'log off' option, the process takes longer than usual and, if the user tries to reconnect the next day, they get a message. ControlUp can help with this situation, either setting an automated action to reboot the system for single sessions, or putting the machine into maintenance mode for multi-session hosts to prevent new connections. Investigating Error State in Horizon Machines with Solve and Realtime DX

Does ControlUp Console to Domain Controller traffic supports LDAPS?
The user asked whether the ControlUp Console to Domain Controller traffic supports LDAPS. Additionally, the question was posed as to why the ports for Hybrid Cloud for XenDesktop Controllers and XenServer Pool for EU Customers is only 80, but on the other KB article it is 80/443. These questions were answered and it was explained that the port can be changed to 443 and customers need to configure the protocol field adding an (S). Can Site Load be Used with Custom Hive for Internal Sites?
A user asked if Site Load could be used with a Custom hive for internal Sites. It was confirmed that it should work as long as the correct routing and ports were open. Troubleshooting the ControlUp Library Script “Notify Users Poor Wifi”
A user was trying to use the "Notify Users Poor wifi" script from the ControlUp library, but it was not working. A suggestion was made to check if 'Run in .NET (Preview)' is selected. @member, who had something to do with the script, provided a screenshot which showed the 'Execute script with .NET engine' checkbox.
