When using the EUC Universal Sync Script, make sure the "preview" Parameter is set to false in the cfg file to run the Sync script, and restart the monitor service for scheduling. The version on Github is the latest. The warning "Commit Changes?" is misleading but to assign False to the Preview parameter commit needs to be set to Yes. A bug in 8.8 related to Templates being empty was mentioned.

Investigating Network Latency Issues in ControlUp
A user noticed that some of their devices experience a network latency with white spaces at different intervals and asked for clarification. It was determined that the ping was failing consistently every 40 minutes and that there could be a network issue (not VPN) related to communicating with a target Citrix public IP address. The user was instructed to open a support ticket and view raw data to determine if the numbers match. The graphs looked normal when checked.

Using Insights to View Most CPU & RAM Consuming Applications Over Given Period
A user asked how to view the most CPU and RAM consuming applications for a user on a shared server in a single graph, using only Insights. ControlUp Solve Computer Trends can display this in two charts, but the user would like the same list in a single graph, over a given period, which is not possible with just Insights. A feature request for this has been suggested. The App Trends section can be used to view one process at a time.

Running Nutanix CLI Commands From the ControlUp Console
A user asked if it was possible to run Nutanix CLI commands from the ControlUp console, and if it was possible through the PowerShell module or REST API. Troubleshooting an Alert to Send Email When Free Space is Less Than 15GB
A user asked for help troubleshooting an alert to send an email when free space on a disk is less than 15GB. The user found that the alert only fired after restarting the monitor or agent. After further investigation and advice from another member, the user learned that triggering the alert requires the free space to cross the threshold from a greater to lower value, and that creating a series of triggers at each threshold is necessary to ensure that alerts are triggered as needed.

Customizing Widgets and New Analytics in ControlUp Solve
The conversation began with customers asking for the ability to filter applications in widgets, blacklisting or whitelisting them. ControlUp is now excluding ControlUp processes and allowing customization of widgets in the upcoming Solve release. In addition, there will soon be a new analytic report for machines with high CPU. Finally, users can use Export-CuQuery to create a workaround to get data on applications crashing or hanging.

Monitoring VeloCloud SD-WAN Routers with ControlUp Scoutbees
A user asked about monitoring VeloCloud SD-WAN routers with Scoutbees or script actions. The respondent suggested availability could be monitored using a ping or http/s test, while a more advanced solution could be done with the shell test. Connecting Nutanix AHV to ControlUp

How are the credentials saved on ControlUp Scoutbees for a published App/Desktop scout?
Credentials for Apps/Desktops on Scoutbees are encrypted either in a database or with AWS-vault, depending on whether the Scout is running on a cloud hive or a custom hive.
