A user asked if there was a way to disable auto updates for devices with the ControlUp agent other than disabling them one at a time; it is possible to do so by turning off version control. The reason for this was due to CarbonBlack blocking the agent when it gets updated. As a solution, the user was suggested to get a CarbonBlack rule in place to allow it, simplifying future upgrades of the agent.

How often is the “Client CPU” metric is gathered in ControlUp Realtime DX?
Someone asked about the frequency of the "client CPU" metric and whether it is an average. It is updating at 3 seconds, and there could be a bigger interval for seeing it in solve (up to 10 seconds). However, users may be seeing different values in their local task manager, and @member or @member could provide more details on this. It is possible that the stress levels in the configuration are set to average so the values change less often.

The suggestion was motivated by a real life scenario of 40 sites with the same function, 10 of which were not responding and the user not having an overview of the working ones.

It was then mentioned that if these VMs are not connecting to the Monitor, they will cause errors in Solve (missing historical data). Lastly, the user realized that the Agent may not be running.
