Customers have asked for dashboard metrics related to user experience (such as Remote DX data) but the available metrics are limited to session level metrics or folder-level aggregated values. Mail alerts stopped updating even if we see failures on the ControlUp Dashboard
User was not receiving any mail alerts even though there were failures in the dashboard, and Teamshook alerts were not showing. After disabling and re-enabling the alerts policies, the issue was solved. Support indicated a potential issue with the backend. To investigate, they asked if enabling/disabling the scout or alert policy made a difference. The response was that re-enabling was a lucky attempt, as the issue was due to an issue on the backend side.

How to show only devices that have Zoom installed and allow to push a custom script via ControlUp Edge DX?
The user asked how to identify which devices have Zoom installed so they can bulk select and push a custom script. It was suggested that they check the Installed Applications report on ControlUp Edge DX, and in the new Devices 2.0 dashboard they will be able to filter devices by installed application and then bulk select to push the custom script. The installed applications/versions are updated on the desktop daily but can be forced by deleting the HKLM\SOFTWARE\Avacee\SIP\ScriptLastRunTimes value.

How to get the Number of Machines in Maintenance Mode in a ControlUp Dashboard
The user looked for a metric to get the number of machines in maintenance mode for a dashboard. Currently, the "CVAD Maintenance Mode" metric displays if the machines are in maintenance mode or not, but "Available Machines" or "Available Delivery Groups" may be more useful, as they represent machines not in maintenance mode. A real count of maintenance machines or alternative metric adding availability while excluding "in use" would also be helpful. Custom widgets drilldown will soon be available.

Viewing Survey Results with ControlUp User Sentiments Beta
The discussion discussed a beta version of the User Sentiments feature and how to view survey results. It was suggested that optional questions may be the cause of one survey response not displaying as the other two. The Edge DX agent is available as a workaround. Logon duration is available in ControlUp Edge DX from the logons and user sessions report
A user asked if there was a way to report the logon duration of an endpoint from sign-in to landing at the desktop, as well as a way to report the reboot time of the endpoint. The logon duration can be seen in the Edge DX 'Logons and User Sessions' report, while the reboot time could be reported using a custom report from the Windows Shutdown/Reboot Event IDs. The user appreciated the tip and said they would look into it.

ControlUp Solve Feature (CVAD User Sessions) Incorrect Values
A user noticed that sometimes, some of the values in the Solve feature (CVAD User Sessions) was incorrect. The Discovery view can be inaccurate but should be close enough and the default update period is once every 2 minutes. It was suggested to open a support ticket with as much information as possible (including screenshots) and to email them at support@controlup.com
