A user upgraded to v9 of ControlUp and received warning messages on using the new sync script. Suggestions were made to check trigger folders, update data collectors, and make sure all agents are on .net 4.8. Support ticket may be needed if issue persists. Console version and continued updates were also discussed.

Hi All…I upgraded to v9 today… Got these warnings that popped up… Any idea what they are?
did u use the new sync script? looks like to me the triggers u have set can see the folders u had setup
Hmmm. I haven’t even looked at that yet. Just finished updating the monitors and other servers I’ll take a look at the sync script
it should not have kicked in on its own, u need to enable and config if i remember right
but check ur trigers are the folders setup, also make sure ur data collectors are upgarded as well if ur using them on EUC and Hypervisor nodes
i got 2 data collectors that require .net 4.8… the other one has the updated agent and .net 4.8….
it might be an issue tat not all are updated, if u have trigers based on EUC and hypervisor folders the data collectors will not work well at least with previous versions anyway that was the case
also remember all ur agents will need 4.8 as well
Yeah I had a couple of scripts for EUC in triggers. Just disabled them.
i’d trying getting all data collectors updated and see if issue is resolved, otherwise might need a ticket with support
Yup. Already started that process.
Trigger scope folders are the folders included in triggers.
We changed how we do folder scoping in V9 but you shouldn’t get an error message.
• Do you still see this message if you restart the console?
• Can you spot check triggers to make sure that they’re set to target the correct folder?
Also what version of the console are you using?
It’s the latest available v9. Not in front of the console right. Now.
Seems we are good.. The sync is working… only warnings now are those showing agent versions are different… thanks for the help on this Luke & Dennis..
