A user asked about using the CVAD Maintenance Mode from an integration in a trigger. The account was using shared credentials and the Monitor/Data Source connection seemed ok. It was suggested that the user use an Advanced Trigger and select the "Include newly discovered devices" option and use the "Disable CVAD machine maintenance mode" script action to enable the machine. The user was also recommended to check out the Trigger Packs article. The link for the Disable CVAD machine maintenance mode is https://github.com/controlup/script-library/tree/master/Disable%20CVAD%20machine%20maintenance%20mode and the Trigger Packs article is found at https://support.controlup.com/docs/trigger-packs.

hello,
is it possible to use the CVAD Maintenance Mode from a CVAD integration in a trigger?
Do we have to configure anything specific for this? The CVAD connection in the ControlUP console is ok. However, the trigger does not work.
Used it several times and was working a treat so far.
Can you make sure that your Monitor/s is/are able to connect the Delivery Controllers/Cloud Connectors?
Also verify that the account you are using to connect to Citrix farm is using shared credentials. Right-click Citrix farm in EUC environments and select connection settings. If not then the monitor will not be able to connect to Citrix farm to pull citrix metrics. You can also validate this from monitor settings, selecting data sources to see if the monitor can connect to the Citrix farm data source.
thank you.
Account is using shared credentials and monitor/data source connection seems ok
What Trigger type are you using?
I am using Advanced Trigger and make sure you select "Include newly discovered devices"…
now it works – there was a problem with the shared credentials.
thank you
Do any of you have a trigger to put a machine out of maintenance mode?If you have Automated Actions feature licensed and your Trigger ready you can use the "Disable CVAD machine maintenance mode" script action to enable the machine:
