Hi all, I have the requirement to create a trigger which monitors the number of files in a folder on a specific server and sends an email if a limit value is exceeded. Are there any possibilities with CU?
we don’t do file counts but you could use a scheduled trigger to get file count and if it’s over your threshold generate a windows event that a follow up trigger could respond to.
Okay, thanks. But where can I find a "file count" in a scheduled trigger? Is there an appropriate filter?
no you need to create a script that does the file count for you and use a scheduled trigger to run that script.
