A user asked why some EUC environment servers in the ControlUp console had their IP address visible while others did not. It was explained that those with an agent installed had their IP addresses pulled directly from the agent, while "agentless" machines that were powered on get the IP address field from vCenter. To view the IP addresses of the ones with agents, the user was recommended to use "Solve" and add the field there.

Why is it that I can see the IP address for the Servers in "EUC Environment" that don’t have the agent installed and cannot for the ones with the agent installed? I would rather not have to connect to all the servers to pull the IP address if I don’t need to.
They euc ones are using and agent less agent due to been connected via the euc. When u install. An agent u no long use the agent less via euc
Not sure a came across right
I just looked into this in the lab. It appears to me that "agentless" machines that are powered on get the IP address field from vCenter. If the machine has an agent (added to the console in the tree) its pulling from the agent.
Its not pulling from EUC (Horizon or Citrix).
So in your example there, the two that show the IP are agentless and haven’t been added to the console tree (status is Install Agent).
But what your not showing is the hypervisor. I assume its connected here.
But as far as having to connect to everything to see the IP addresses of the ones that have agents, use Solve and add the field there.
i was thinking more exporting the data from the monitor but users easier 🙂
