A user experienced a permissions issue with their team and edge devices in Solve. When using DEX, only a select few have access to the remote tools, despite having Editor rights. The user checked the migration but did not find any issues. Another user suggested checking for another role that may have been applied. After removing the additional role, access was granted. The link to remote control a device is: https://support.controlup.com/docs/remote-control-or-shadow-a-device

Ran into a permissions issue with my team and edge DX… In Solve they all had access to the remote tools for the devices, but now in DEX only a few have rights even those everyone aside from Admins have Editor rights… Which i believe gives them access to those remote tools. No issues in solve, the perms are there for them to use but not available in DEX. Is there something i am missing from the migration that didn’t happen?

i think that is what u need
yeah .. that is all set… I even gave one of my engineers admin privs.. same as mine and he didn’t have the tools available. I had him logout and back in, but that didn’t do anything.
make sure they don’t have another role applied to them as i’m most restrictive will take priority
yup it was the multi roles.. thanks Luke for the assist!
