A user asked ControlUp about FedRamp certification, and if there was a feature parity matrix between the on-prem release and SaaS. They were informed that ControlUp is not FedRamp certified but is in the process of obtaining this certification, and a feature matrix is available at https://support.controlup.com/docs/controlup-modes. Additionally, edge dx and Scoutbees require the cloud and when in the Government space, Hybrid mode is not available.

Understanding Cross Site Association in ControlUp
When the delivery group is in another datacenter, it may have its own ControlUp monitor which the EUC view only allows one site per EUC site. RT shows information but Solve does not. It is verified that the monitor is connected and available, but the user needs "cross site association" -- a setting to allow the monitors to share data between each other. Enabling this feature increases network utilization and has to be done manually. For more information, the user can see the Multi-Site Association Feature at https://support.controlup.com/docs/multi-site-association-feature.

Locked Out of ControlUp Solve Portal Despite Permissions
A user was locked out of their Solve and DEX portals due to a permissions issue. After being granted all necessary permissions, they still couldn't access Solve from the console. It was established that the user needed the "Use Solve" right in their security policy. The user then tried a few solutions, including the add-cuuser cmdlet (https://support.controlup.com/docs/add-cuuser-create-new-solve-users#), but still could not access the portal. A restart of the monitor did not help however, so the issue is still unresolved.

Solving Internal Network Connectivity Issues from ControlUp
A user reported an issue when trying to run a network connectivity check script from ControlUp - a password was being requested but the documentation was not indicating anything about this. However, the user realized they had a typo. It was then suggested to do a "test-netconnection mon1 -port 40706" which revealed the problem was internal and related to cluster communication. Support was contacted to get to the bottom of the issue. The Academy can be found at https://support.controlup.com/v1/docs/how-to-check-network-connectivity-to-controlup-cloud-services.

Can the ControlUp RealTime DX Console Be Run From Another Server?
It is possible to run the ControlUp RealTime DX Console from another server other than the Monitor as long as it meets the requirements outlined in the Knowledge Base article https://support.controlup.com/docs/communication-ports-used-by-controlup-hybrid-cloud-1. Having the Console on the Monitor server is not preferred as it can bog down resources and can lead to corrupted RAM databases which may cause alerts and automation not to fire. It is best practice for users to open the Console on a dedicated machine and to use the DEX platform instead of Solve.
