A user inquired about limiting access to ControlUp agentless VMs when giving the service account visibility of storage in VMware - this would bring in 191 agentless VMs and exceed their licensing capabilities. It was clarified that the only way to limit the service account is to do it at the cluster level, granting them the "NO ACCESS" role on the clusters not to be managed. The user was advised to reach out to their ControlUp sales team for further assistance on this matter.

Investigating Performance Issues in Citrix VDI with NVIDIA GRID GPU
A user reported strange performance differences between identical Citrix VDI machines with NVIDIA GRID GPU configured, all started from the same master. Though NVIDIA licensing and configuration was OK, some machines did not show a GPU in use. Other users suggested checking the ControlUp Agent delayed start setting and switching between native Microsoft APIs and NVIDIA metrics (https://support.controlup.com/docs/gpu-monitoring-with-controlup?highlight=gpu). Configuring ControlUp in Multi-Forest AD with Selective Authentication Two-Way Trust
A user wanted guidance on ControlUp in multi-forest AD with selective authentication two-way trust. The license is tied to the AD domain, as long as DNS resolution is available from the monitors and console, the AD forests don't matter. As the accounts will be migrated in phases, a trust needs to be set up in ControlUp. Further, the account team needs to be contacted to iron out any licensing issues. Documentation on setting up multi-domain environment can be found at https://support.controlup.com/docs/setting-up-a-multi-domain-environment.
