we use FSLogix and one the main issues we’re facing is the black screen due to the AppX packages which significantly delays the logon time, does anyone have any suggestions or tweaks to help improve this? we can’t disable the AppX packages because we use them for Teams, etc..
You could disable AppX packages you don’t need
or all users on the machine
“`
Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers“`
🔹 With more useful details (Name, Version, Install Location)
“`
Get-AppxPackage | Select-Object Name, PackageFullName, Version, InstallLocation“`
• You can remove or block specific Appx packages with PowerShell or Group Policy.
Remove for the current user:
“`
Get-AppxPackage PackageName | Remove-AppxPackage“`
Remove for all users (including new profiles):
“`
Get-AppxProvisionedPackage -Online | Where-Object DisplayName -like "PackageName" | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -Online“`
