Troubleshooting ControlUp Edge DX Error on Ubuntu Device

A forum member asked about an error with a ControlUp Edge DX service running on Ubuntu. They checked the siplog.log, which showed a normal log from 2023, and determined that the service was running but something else was causing it to shut down when the user attempted a remote shell. Hey @member I would first check if the sipagent process is running with a ps -edf

Logs should be in /var/log/avacee

A file called siplog.log

I woke up an old Ubuntu machine on my Parallels box and here is a "normal" siplog.log

And "something" is shutting it down when you are requesting a remote shell

can the user try to do :

sudo service avaceesip restart

and try to reinstall

user typed sudo service avacee restart instead of "avaceesip"
