A user was looking for a more granular view on CPU and memory from the VDI and DaaS reports in ControlUp. It was suggested to use invoke cu-query to export real-time data or use triggers based on specific conditions. The historical pipeline only saves 5-minute data points, but each data point includes Min, Avg, and Max values. This information can be seen in the report UI.

Hey All – I’m trying to troubleshoot some issues that happen in a 5-10 min window. Given this I would like a more granular view on CPU and memory from the VDI and DaaS reports (Machine Trends/APp Trends) – GUI is only showing a data point every 5 mins.
How can I pull out more granular data points? Thanks.
Hi @member , we only save 5-min data points in the historical pipeline, but each 5-min data point includes Min, Avg. and Max. Max being the one 3 seconds sample with the highest value in the 5min data point. And you should see the max value in the report UI, when looking on a single datapoint
In addition, you can use invoke cu-query to export the real-time data, or use triggers to export live data based on specific real time conditions
Thanks Yoni
