A user shared their experience with an issue in the ControlUp v9 Beta 9.0.1470, where triggers for a specific event log were not firing. After upgrading to the latest version, 9.0.1546, and restarting the monitor service, the triggers started working. The user also shared a helpful tip for viewing triggers by clicking on Incidents in the RT console and toggling on the trigger column. They hoped this would help others with the same issue.

Posting here in case anyone else has this issue: I was running v9 Beta 9.0.1470 and trying to setup a trigger for a specific event log. I could see it in the Events section in the RT console, but the trigger was never firing. I ended up upgrading the v9 console to the latest, 9.0.1546, restarted the monitor (upgraded) and then the triggers started firing. Not sure if it was the version that fixed it or if it was the restart of the monitor service
Also, posting here which has been super helpful for viewing triggers
-
click on Incidents in the rt console
-
click on Machine stress, if thats the type of trigger (Machine, session, User)
-
toggle on the trigger column
here are all of the triggers and when they fired, etc
hopefully this helps others with this issue
