A discussion about credentials for installing or updating the CU agent took place. Depending on the settings and AD connections, either matching AD credentials or the Windows identity running controlupconsole.exe are used. It should be noted that these are the console’s AD connections, not the monitors.

i just cant remember, but what credentials are used when trying to install or update the CU agent? with the latest beta build i cant update anything
Depends.
Under settings > ad connections, do any of the AD connections match the domain of the machine? Then those credentials are used.
Do none match or the list is empty? Then the windows identity that is running controlupconsole.exe is used
Do note that this is the console’s AD connections. NOT the monitors
