I wanted to understand how controlUp tool is triggering windows event logs such as Error, hang, Freezes.
what are the conditions applied and these events are impacting users or these are happening in backend where users are not aware of one

ControlUp is giving you all winevt log info here. You can filter down by specific errors and see expanded details by clicking the expand description box. In my experience troubleshooting some of these issues. I usually use the "system events" section and Window Event log index to narrow down impact by number of devices. They I usually google or even test on of the affected devices to determine impact. The application performance dashboard is good for this too. In reality determining impact on the user is not straight forward, you will have to do a good bit of testing.
