When looking to compare network monitoring and performance management solutions AppNeta and ControlUp Edge DX, there are some key differences to consider. AppNeta focuses on network performance monitoring, while ControlUp Edge DX monitors endpoint devices. Additionally, AppNeta uses active probing technology while ControlUp Edge DX uses agent-based technology. ControlUp Edge DX provides additional features for endpoint management including patch management, remote access, and security. Error When Removing and Re-Adding Servers from Old Sub-Org: Solutions Needed in ControlUp

A user was having issues removing and re-adding servers in their environment that hadn't been used for years, and received a generic error. The user was advised to remove the regkey as described in Computer already belongs to another ControlUp organization - Managed Computers. The user managed to get the servers working, and asked how long it would take for CPU/memory historical data to show in the graphs. It takes 1-2 hours for the data to get to the historical views, but this will change soon once streaming (a new method for historic data) is enabled, and it will be almost instant.

Are People Using PowerShell 5 or 7?

Most people are still using PowerShell 5 rather than 7 as PowerShell 7 does not have the ISE editor and some do not like Visual Studio Code. Depending on the goal, users are trying to use PowerShell 7 for their scripts, although it is not yet possible to do this within ControlUp Script Actions yet.

Updating Specific Agents to Beta Version for Testing: Fixing ‘Send CTRL+ALT+Delete’ Issue on 2.11.1.1598 (GA)?

When using agent version 2.11.1.1598 (GA) with the "Send CTRL+ALT+Delete" button, it does not work. It is not possible to update a couple agents to a beta version via the GUI and manual download/installation is required. Agent Manager must be stopped or uninstalled and only the agent should be upgraded. Troubleshooting High GPU Memory Usage: How to Show GPU Memory Usage by Process?

A user noticed high GPU memory usage for VDI (80 to 95%) in the COP Console but when they selected processes, the GPU Utilization, Decoder Utilization, Encoder Utilization, and Frame Buffer Memory Utilization all showed 0%. They were wondering if there was a way to show the GPU memory usage by process. Another user suggested selecting System Sessiosn from the dropdown, but this was already done. It was suggested to check the GPU Utilization for more usage to narrow down the issue, but further investigation was needed.

How can the login process be further optimized, considering the slowdown caused by system AppX Packages?

Suggestions were made to optimize the loginprocess and gain an even lower login time. Steps to audit process creation and termination were provided, along with many other settings related to the login process and the loading of AppX packages. It was mentioned that the worldwide average login duration is 27 seconds, but the user's logon time was 17.5 seconds, so they were doing well. The user may be able to remove the BIO_Enrollment package if not using bio logon methods.
