Trigger for Email Alerts on Disconnected Sessions
A customer requested an email alert when many sessions got disconnected in a short period of time. A trigger was suggested, but it does not cover the specific timeframe. Another option is to use the API and script to export and compare data for disconnected sessions. Yoni's suggestions were appreciated by the group.

Topics discussed in the past include trigger and security policy best practices, as well as migration to DEX. Troubleshooting User Login and Logoff Triggers in ControlUp
A user was having trouble with User login and logoff triggers. Another user suggest checking the incidents pane in the config console to see if any trigger events were recorded. The first user was able to see User Logged On events but not User Logged Off events. Others chimed in to say that all triggers, regardless of action, should record an incident. Further troubleshooting was needed to understand why the trigger was not working.

ControlUp’s Plan for Replacing Solve Tab in Console00
A user asked about plans to replace the Solve tab in the Console with a Dex tab, since Solve is no longer available. Another user mentioned that there is already a Dex button but it will not function as a SSO. The console will require users to log into Dex first in its next version. The HybridCloud RealtimeDX v9 also has a DEX button and Solve/IOP tab, and it is recommended to set up SAML for SSO. A link to ControlUp's support page on SAML SSO for Dex was provided.

Troubleshooting EUC Testing in ControlUp
A user faced issues with the Edge browser launching while testing an EUC test with a custom hive. ControlUp support suggested a call to troubleshoot, and the user found a temporary workaround by pinning Notepad to the taskbar. The issue was related to the scout selecting the most left-pinned application or the start menu.

Setting up an RDS Server Trigger and Script with ControlUp Academy
