Creating a Citrix Workspace App Versions Report in ControlUp

ControlUp API Data Access: How to Correlate Device Information with User Activity

A user was looking to access data such as user login and logout events, locked and unlocked status, and IP addresses through the API. It was suggested to use the "get-data-index" endpoint to obtain this data. To correlate with user profiles, the device name or ID can be used.

Troubleshooting Edge DX Agent Installation and Upgrades for Non-Persistent Virtual Desktops in Citrix
A user inquired about installing the sipagent2.17.0.6185.msi on a Master Image for MCS without the Agent Control Manager, and if there was a way to suppress automatic upgrades of Edge DX agent using the agentmanger MSI. It was recommended to tag machines with a specific tag and make a rule for that tag to align with a specific agent version. Another user commented that EdgeDX could be used for non-persistent virtual desktops in Citrix, and requested assistance from other customers who have done so. There is currently no way to suppress the automatic upgrade of Edge DX agent using the agentmanager MSI.

Troubleshooting VDI Errors in ControlUp Environment
A team member reported an error in their VDI environment, with 600 VDIs affected. One solution is to use the Controllers pane to copy the reg key to the other VDIs, but this only works if they are persistent - alternatively, one can open the golden image or set a group policy to correct the key. Opening a support ticket is also recommended if the issue persists.
