Troubleshooting Offline Windows Servers in ControlUp

Some Windows servers appear as offline, but when a user logs in through the hypervisor's remote console, they show as online again. A screenshot was requested and a possible solution was suggested. It was advised to submit a case to support@controlup.com with logs and screenshots for further analysis. Different ways to change logging levels were shared and it was asked if the server has AV in place. A possible explanation was offered and it was mentioned that logs would provide more insight into the issue. One user stated that they had put in exceptions for the AV, and another needed to wait before reporting. Screenshot and log files were recommended to help find a solution.

Automating Reports for 5G Users with ControlUp Workflows

Troubleshooting Screen Recording in ControlUp for macOS with an MDM Deployment

Other users clarified that the pop-up is expected and not able to be managed by an MDM due to Apple restrictions. Addressing Timestamp Issues in ControlUp’s PowerShell Cmdlet Invoke-CUQuery

Adding Triggers for Multiple Drives in ControlUp

A user asked for suggestions on how to add a trigger for the D drive, on top of an existing one for the C drive. There is a way to do so by creating an advanced trigger for the logical disk category and using "D:\" as the disk name criterion. One user initially had trouble finding the option, but realized they had selected the wrong Record Type. The solution was found in the end.

Logon Timeout Trigger Absent in ControlUp Version 9.1.5.426

A user asked about the absence of "Logon Timeout" in the list of trigger options for Citrix connection failures in ControlUp version 9.1.5.426. Another user suggested that it may be the same as "Connection Timeout," but the first user clarified that they are different failures. A third user asked for ways to reproduce logon timeout connection failures for data analysis purposes. It was mentioned that while there is no easy way to reproduce them, they periodically occur in their deployment.
