ControlUp Agent Versions Report Only Shows Windows Devices

A user noticed that the Agent Versions report only showed Windows devices and asked if there was a way to view a list of IGEL devices by version number. Another member explained that the report currently only includes Windows and MacOS devices, but they will look into including other platforms in the future.

i can look at individual IGEL devices and it shows me the agent version but when i go to reports -> Agent Versions, it shows nothing but Windows devices

I think that’s by design but let me follow up

It appears that the report indeed filters explicitly on platform 1 and 2 (Windows and MacOS). I suspect because those have a defined agent version control.

Are you looking for a list of IGEL devices by version number?

Yes, if you have a report specifically for agent versions, why would it not include the entire fleet and only specific OS’s?

Our thin client versions are the most common Linux agents and version control is handled though a different mechanism (through vendor tools), however we can look if they can be included in this report. Will get back to you
