Several users experienced high volumes of crashing with the process ‘Survey.exe’ but found no active surveys running. One member recommended checking the version of the sip agent installed on the VDI’s and to review the AV exclusions, which can be found on the updated documentation page at https://support.controlup.com/docs/av-exclusions-for-controlup. A user also reported having a dump file for the issue. Others suggested that this may be a result of the AV exclusions not being applied properly and causing a loop of ‘Survey.exe’ starting and crashing immediately.

Hello, we are seeing the process ‘Survey.exe’ being reported with high volumes of crashing, has anyone else experienced this. We dont have any active surveys running.
what version of the sip agent do u have installed on the VDI’s can check internally
we are using 9.1.5.406 2.17.7.7838 and
This is the error – I will log a ticket

do u have a crash dump to do with the ticket
even if seeing any reported issue already we would need that to validate same cause
I have collected a dump file
@member I believe this has been reported recently. Will look it up
@member based on previous cases, we would recommend reviewing the AV exclusions from this updated documentation page:

Thanks abel had not had a chance to look proper yet
Could the AV exclusions just be effecting ‘Survey.exe’ we have machines in a loop with Survey.exe starting then crashing immediately
Potentially. This has been observed in other environments as well, and confirmed linked to AV exclusions not being applied properly.
