A user asked about adding multiple sites to one scout in ControlUp. Another user suggested using a Custom Script Scout to consolidate multiple checks into one. However, this may result in a loss of some per-site features and alerting. Currently, ControlUp does not allow for multiple endpoints per scout. The team is looking into potentially incorporating this feature at a later time.

Good day
is it possible to add multiple site to one scout ?
👋 what type of scout are we taking?
I need to do a Siteload or HTTP to 8 sites, but im createing them one by one ,
was wondering if you can have one scouts that checks all 8 sites
Funny, opened i ticket today about the same (including Certificate test)
In short the design is 8 Scouts (one for each site). You’ll get per-site visibility in DEX, SLA reporting, and alerting.
Might be able to a shell extension using PowerShell – (never tried)
If you want to consolidate to one Scout with multiple checks, you’d have to use the “Custom Script Scout
That way, you run 8 checks inside one Scout, and output a single JSON result for ingestion.
Downside: you lose some of the per-site SLA breakdown, since all results are grouped together.
And possible lose alerting,
I’d have to check this with Cristian if the shell extension can do this and how if possible "ingle JSON result for ingestion"
but in general 1 site per scout
yes, as @member said, we currently dont have "Multiple" endpoints per 1 scout. Only 1 to 1 for now
