A user asked if anyone had set up an EUC scout to log in to Horizon view with Duo MFA. Control Up support have an open case on this, and @member has more information. ICMP is sometimes dropped/blocked by routers/firewalls so TCP is a better approach so real latency and QoS (high priority) traffic values can be measured. The port also needs to be listening.

Any one successfully set up an EUC scout to log in to horizon view configured with Duo MFA? The MFA prompts you to type the number 1, and then click submit (which will then send the 2FA codes, phone call, etc) doesn’t seem to be an option at this time.
Hi Brian, We have an open case with Control Up support on this topic. We are waiting for the development team to come back to us with a solution.
Hi Brian, not sure about the Duo MFA… Let’s see if @member has more information about a roadmap item for this
And @member regarding your "ping" topic, ICMP is sometimes indeed dropped/blocked by routers and/or firewalls
TCP is a better approach since: you measure
• the real latency for the TCP connection
• if QoS is enabled you will have a different value for a high priority traffic when there is congestion
Thanks Samuel.
But yeah, you’re right the port needs to be listening
