Customizing Insights Dashboard with External Data in ControlUp

A user asked if it was possible to customize a field in an Insights Dashboard by requesting information from an external server. A ControlUp employee confirmed that it was technically possible but not supported out of the box and suggested reaching out to a CSM or account rep for further discussion. It was also noted that the underlying platform of IOP is Splunk and it may be possible to achieve this using its functionality. However, the user's company and the customer need to clearly define their needs before deciding on a technical solution.

Troubleshooting the Console Login for ControlUp v9.05

A member asked for the URL that the captcha uses when logging in to the Console of 9.05. Another member shared a KB article with a list of necessary URLs and ports for v9.05 login, including a missing Google one. Troubleshooting Network Communication Issues in ControlUp 9.0

A user encountered an error related to network communication after upgrading to version 9.0. They were asked to specify their region and test various components, including Real-Time DX, Agent Outbound, and Scoutbees. Additionally, they were informed that agents will try to reach out to cu-agents-cpa.controlup.com in order to retrieve a Personal Access Token for communication with ControlUp Monitors.

Triggering Actions based on Specific Server Connection Failures in ControlUp Real Time Console

A discussion was held about being able to trigger an action based on the number of connection failures for a specific server. It was suggested to add a column in the Real Time Console to display the number of Citrix connection failures, which could then be used to create triggers. The user also asked about improved local host cache monitoring and the possibility of bringing it into the product. The ControlUp support team mentioned some relevant resources and offered to discuss further during an upcoming meeting.
