How to fix this false positive in ControlUp?

User asked for help with false positive - 400s for Windows Shell, caused by loopback processing mode and RSoP logging not being configured. They used the script from ControlUp's github repository which worked with parameters provided, however executing it from the console gave a false output. @Member determined it was a bug, which the user eventually figured out. Seeking Method to Identify Applied Settings and Corresponding PowerShell Profile?

The user asked about PowerShell profiles and how to see the settings that are applying, and if OneDrive could be causing confusion. It was suggested to check the $profile, $profile.currentuserallhost and allusersallhosts commands, as well as the provided links from Microsoft, and the host (Powershell-ISE, Visual studio code, powershell.exe, etc) might also be introducing settings. How can the login process be further optimized, considering the slowdown caused by system AppX Packages?

Suggestions were made to optimize the loginprocess and gain an even lower login time. Steps to audit process creation and termination were provided, along with many other settings related to the login process and the loading of AppX packages. It was mentioned that the worldwide average login duration is 27 seconds, but the user's logon time was 17.5 seconds, so they were doing well. The user may be able to remove the BIO_Enrollment package if not using bio logon methods.

How to Determine Device Presence and Last Communication Value in ControlUp Edge DX

A user asked about EdgeDX API, looking for a best Index to use and if an API request should be sent for each device. It was suggested to use the (hidden) _devices index and take inspiration from the Edge UI, which can be accessed by pressing F12. Lastly, using the Get-EdgeDXIndexData with a maxrecord of 10000 was suggested which would retrieve all the records.

How to use Scoutsbees Shell Extensions to launch applications

The user asked if they can run an application as part of a Scout with Scoutsbees shell extensions. It is possible to run anything on the Custom Hive or Powershell.exe as System. Login Enterprise combined with Azure was suggested for migration testing or a new application, but Shell execution would have to run in the Custom Hive and System context. The user wanted to avoid going through separate teams and departments to use the logon script in Scoutbees.
