A user asked if it is possible to target certain machines for surveys in ControlUp Edge DX, with the current options being AD groups or individual machines. It was mentioned that machine group selection may need to be requested as an enhancement. Linux agents do not currently support user sentiment. The survey is sent to users, and Edge is not installed on Citrix desktops.

Hi, is there a way of targeting certain machines for surveys in Edgedx ?
I believe in the survey setup you can select AD groups. user or computer.
We are trying to push it to igel devices so won’t be in ad groups.
looks like these are the only options:
maybe put your igel users in a an AD group?
Hi, the igels don’t authenticate to AD as they log into Citrix. I think it might need to go down as an enhancement request to be able to choose an edge dx device group
the survey goes to the user, correct? and you configure which users get prompted.
Yes but edge isn’t installed on the citrix desktops. I’m wondering if that’s what I need to do but as it’s more for device deployments it could be overkill
@member not sure if Linux agents have support for User Sentiment?
@member not at the moment, Windows and Mac only.
