Troubleshooting Citrix Cloud Site Connection with ControlUp

A user was having trouble adding their Citrix Cloud site as an EUC environment and got an error message when trying to connect. It was suggested to upgrade to the latest version of 9.1.5.406 or check ControlUp’s Download Center for the correct agent version. Upgrading is recommended for other additional fixes as well.

I am trying to add my Citrix Cloud site as an EUC environment. I have a valid API key and it’s added as a shared credential. I have 2 data collectors, and they have the cloud SDK installed. They pass when I do a test connection. However, when I attempt to connect to the Cloud site in the App, I only get the red circle and when hovering, it has the message: Error converting value "Uknown" to type ‘System.String[]’.Path ‘Items[0].Delivering’,line 1, position111. Could not cast or convert from System.String to System.String[].

I am thinking this must be some kind of issue on the collector or machine running the App, as I have successfully connected before, but this happens every time now. I’m sure I’m missing something simple, but I’m not seeing it


what version are you running? we applied some fixes around this in the very latest 9.1.5.406 that was released last week


meh, 9.1.0.807. Are the fixes to the point of fixing issues with getting it to connect?


yes


The underlying API was changed. I believe support has version for each supported version. If you cannot upgrade, they should have agent versions for 9.1.x, 9.0.x, etc

You’d only need to replace your data collector agent


Does it require a support ticket to get the specific agents?


I would check Download Center > Agents:

At least the fixed version for Console is present so I assume cuAgents are also up to date 🙂


just make sure the agent machine used for Citrix Cloud data collection is running agent build 9.1.5.406


if they still run 9.1.0.& monitors better open a support ticket to get the hacked fix for that agent version

but yes overall it’s recommended to upgrade to latest anyway as there have been many more fixes
