A user asked about the auto-remediation feature and questioned if it had patched their Zoom version, wondering where to find logs and traces. A ControlUp representative confirmed the feature works for both CVE and 3rd party applications, and directed the user to a video demonstration and price inquiries to sales. The feature and its benefits are also discussed. The video can be found at https://vimeo.com/926561424.

I enabled auto-remediate today, and that seems to have patched my Zoom version. Is that correct? If zoom.exe it might have been patched by PatchMyPC. If so that’s an awesome feature. However where to I find logs, traces etc. for what was remediated?
Template based job logs are coming soon (current jobs are for manual remediation only). For now it would just disappear from your CVE/patch list.
So if you have another patch management tool you can’t really say
Check their log lol
So only CVE and not 3rd party application patching?
Both
Unless I misunderstood your question
3rd party apps you mean?
Like it was reporting issues with the version of Firefox 123, Zoom and Edge. So does it patch 3rd party software installed on devices when automated remediation are enabled.
Yes
Even with tools like PMPC, we need vulnerability scanners to verify

AMAZING, cause MS Defender does not include this as of today
what’s the price per device?
Did you see the video I did with a manual job?
Talk to sales 😬
nah, need to download and watch tmrw
hmmm, is it cheaper than MS Defender then 😉
Man you’re quick lol
