Setting Up a File-Triggered Maintenance Mode in ControlUp
A question was asked about creating a trigger that would monitor a file on a server and put the server into maintenance mode if it does not exist. The response suggested using a scheduled trigger with a PowerShell script to check the file's presence. The suggested script can be found at \\SERVERNAME\Core\ControlUpFileShareTest.txt and can be run with the command "powershell.exe -file c:\tech\scripts\find_files.ps1."

Enabling Features and Updates at ControlUp
Member asked about enabling a certain feature and was told it's live for devices but other products will be added. It applies to all products as long as the user is on 9.1.5 or above for VDI. However, the Alerts section is currently in beta and will be released to design partners next week. Interested users can contact their CSM for potential early access.

ControlUp Hive Upgrade Workflow Issue and Request for Improvement
A user encountered an issue with the ControlUp Hive upgrade process and opened a ticket with Support. Upon confirmation from Support, it was found that the upgrade process requires the Hive name to be provided on the command line, which can be inconvenient for organizations managing multiple Hives. The user submitted a feature request for an improved upgrade path and ControlUp is currently looking into this.
