Closing Remote Sessions Required When Uninstalling Citrix Client
The Citrix client mentioned in the Release Notes page is the Remote DX Plugin. When uninstalling this plugin, all remote sessions (including RDP, ICA, and Virtual Channel) must be closed otherwise the uninstall will be aborted. It is a known issue and it is recommended to close all these sessions before uninstalling. The release notes will be updated soon.

Gather Drive Type Information with ControlUp Edge DX
This discussion focused on how to use Edge DX to get drive type (SSD, HDD) information into Edge DX in multiple ways. The user initially wanted to see if the laptops they were using had SSDs or HDDs to troubleshoot a performance issue, and instructions were provided for manually and semi-automatically collecting the data. Edge DX also enables the user to create custom reports and set up persistent data collection, and includes a script to collect CPU temperature. Collectively Improve Current ControlUp Functionalities with UserVoice Feature Request
A user sought the help of other ControlUp Citrix DaaS & ControlUp users in pushing for an improvement with regards to the current functionalities. A feature request was made on ControlUp UserVoice (https://controlup.uservoice.com/forums/953875-controlup-uservoice-prospect-request-form/[…]ns/47371013-rewrite-all-controlup-scripts-for-citrix-daas). The user needed to modify an existing script ("Enable CVAD machine maintenance mode") to suit their DaaS environment. Guy is currently scoping out this work with an initial script.
