Is it Possible to Track Certificate Expiry with ControlUp?

Posted on October 2, 2023

A user asked if Controlup could track certificate expiry on storefront servers, as is done for ADC (trigger). A PowerShell script fired via a scheduled trigger can be used to alert before cert expiry, but Landon’s smarter approach via scoutbees in ScoutBees can also be used. More information can be found in ScoutBees.

Hello happy monday! Is there a way that we can track certificate expiry on storefront servers, like we have for ADC (trigger) ? We wanted to know if its possible that controlup could list all certs which citrix is using and help us in tracking/renewing before cert expiry… any thoughts on this please?

I used this with a PowerShell script which will get fired via a scheduled trigger once a day and if the expiration is less than x the PoSh creates an email or an event (Error) in the app log which will then fire another trigger in ControlUp for alerting…

So built-in not…

You can with the http scout in scoutbees.

As usual Landon’s approach is way smarter :rolling_on_the_floor_laughing:

thank you, let me check this option in scoutbees:)
