I love beta software. It always helped me position my solutions for the next move and be ready for change when it happens. Knowing what is coming soon and getting your hands on the beta software is key.
I’m happy to inform you that ControlUp has opened the ControlUp for VDI v9.1 beta.
What’s New:
- Independent Monitor Sites – Monitors can be split into self-sufficient sites, boosting scalability and fault tolerance.
- Site-Level Permissions for Shared Credentials – Assign specific credentials to users and roles, and prevent unnecessary queries on irrelevant sites.
- Cloud Connection Enhancements – Create multiple Azure connections per subscription and assign resource groups for more granular data collection.
- Built-In Sync Script Enhancements – Map machine folder names or FQDNs to custom folder paths for flexible EUC/AVD folder mapping.
- Improved Query Performance – Data loads incrementally in VDI & DaaS, reducing wait times for large data sets.
- Deprecation of Export Schedules and Related PowerShell Cmdlets – Export Schedule settings and several export-related cmdlets are deprecated; use Export-CUQuery instead.
- Automatic Agent Deployment from Monitor – Restored option to deploy ControlUp Agents automatically via the Real-Time DX Console.
- New PowerShell Cmdlets – Manage connections, sites, and environment configurations with new cmdlets (Add-CUCitrixCloud, Get-CUSites, etc.).
