Establishing a ControlUp Infrastructure Across Two Sites
A user sought advice on building a ControlUp infrastructure to monitor two geographically distant sites, separated by 2500 km/1500 miles. Experts suggested the user leverage the latest version (8.8) of the ControlUp Console and Optimization Pack, and place all the necessary components, including the Solve and Insight Pack, in the larger site once it is built and ready. It was also suggested that it might be possible to establish a temporary network in Site A to help facilitate easier movement of components. Gathering Custom Reports with ControlUp Insights
This discussion focused on custom reporting needs and different ways to create and access reports. It was suggested to ask ControlUp for a road map call, and to open a public API as part of the new streaming data project. Insights (on-prem) and PowerShell and Excel were also mentioned as possible ways to create custom reports. Additionally, reports should be stored for one year, rather than having the data in two places, to avoid extra work for users.

Investigating Performance Issues with Teams on W2019 PVS Machines
The head of IT reported extreme slowness of Teams in his W2019 PVS shared machines since the beginning of the week. Insights showed high latency and low protocol bandwidth in the historical data but no CPU or memory peeks were seen. It was suggested to look at real-time performance views on his machine, and consider upgrading to the latest ControlUp version 8.8 to check all FSLogix metrics.

Troubleshooting a Telephony Issue With ControlUp Data
A user asked if it is possible to get granular data from ControlUp to troubleshoot an issue with calls dropping on a telephony system. It was suggested that an alert or script be set up to gather data, however the customer preferred to use Citrix ADM. ControlUp already gives extra details for the Protocol Latency metric such as Min, Max and Avg over a 5-minute interval and users were asked if this was helpful for the issue. The question was left open-ended to determine if more granular data could be made available in the future.
