Differences Between Solve and Insights by ControlUp

A user asked about the differences between ControlUp’s Solve and Insights. The user was told that Solve is the main interface and Insights will be incorporated into Solve. The user was told that some reports and functions are not yet in Solve and there is a separate license for Solve.

So, I’m still fairly new to the whole ControlUp thing. I just noticed today we have Solve. Pardon my newbness, but what’s the difference between Solve and the Insights? Is Solve the same thing but presented in an easier method? Or does it also contain all the data from Remote DX, Scoutbees, etc?

Well said. Solve is going to become more and more the daily interface, and we’re moving things gradually from the windows based console into solve. Our insights product/interface, which is our historical reporting is also moving and some of the reports are found already in solve (as well as insights)

By the end of these year there likely won’t be any separate insights anymore.

it’s not a competition 😉 But thanks for the help. I like the interface in Solve so I’ll start using it over Insights. Gonna keep an eye on the changes that are coming;)

A naive question is why is there a separate license for Solve then ?
