Troubleshooting with Microsoft AVS and ControlUp for vSAN and vSphere Monitoring
A user asked about using Microsoft AVS solution and ControlUp to monitor vSAN/vSphere hosts. It was noted that Microsoft does not allow turning on vSAN Performance Service "Read" permissions, which is required for monitoring. ControlUp gives back ERR in all the metrics columns. At 9am and 10am, there were many application crashes caused by srmagent.exe. Some suggestions were given on how to troubleshoot or find the root cause, such as checking the event log or secure dx logs. If it happens again, it was suggested to open a ticket and send a dmp file for analysis.

Triggering Actions based on Specific Server Connection Failures in ControlUp Real Time Console
