A user asked for help with an unhealthy monitor on ControlUp. They suspected a logon trigger to be the cause and found a solution by filtering the triggers to only run on sessions with valid parameters. A different user suggested checking the automated actions queue and restarting the affected monitor. Registry keys can also be set to delay the problem, but a permanent fix will be available in 9.1 or partial fix in 9.0.5.

ControlUp Academy: Metrics Dashboard Suggestions for Omnissa Horizon Customers
A discussion took place about what metrics an Omnissa Horizon customer may want on a dashboard. Some suggestions were for metrics about pods, connection servers, and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) as well as user access gateway (UAG) metrics and creating custom reports with data collected by ControlUp. There was also mention of creating historical reports and making the process of creating custom reports easier within the ControlUp Analytics feature. The team will gather more information and report back.

A new script has been shared for capturing a native Microsoft etl network trace on a Windows machine without the need for 3rd party tools like Wireshark. This can be used within ControlUp Real-Time and allows for simultaneous tracing on multiple machines. Bonus: process ids are available for every packet and filters can be applied with Wireshark. Troubleshooting Bad Password issues in ControlUp EUC environ setup
There was a discussion about setting up an EUC environ in RTC and an issue with bad passwords being received despite correct information. The suggestion was made to temporarily increase user permissions as it was believed to be a problem with a lack of permissions, not the credentials. After trying this, it was confirmed that increasing permissions did resolve the issue. It was believed that the service account may have been removed from the view or admin AD group, causing the problem.

How to Share Dashboards on ControlUp Portal

Troubleshooting Upgrading Issues in ControlUp
A user experienced issues with upgrading monitors and connectors after upgrading from V9.0.01680 to V9.0.5.143. They had to manually RDP into each server to upgrade and couldn't log in to the ControlUP console after upgrading 8 collectors. Other users suggest using the Invoke-CUMonitorUpdate cmdlet or checking for domain-joined machine status. ControlUp also recommended upgrading to the latest version, 9.0.5.423, which may not solve the issue but is generally advised. A support ticket was recommended to address the initial issue.

Troubleshooting FSLogix in a Citrix Environment
