Why are mouse clicks within RDP sessions in ControlUp 8.8 passed through to background apps?
Users have reported an issue when using RDP/ControlUpconsole.exe, where clicking within an RDP session causes random background apps to pop to the foreground. It was suggested this was a known issue unrelated to ControlUp/RDM/Citrix, linked to the RDP stack, and ControlUp are unable to do anything about it. A workaround is to open the RDP session in a new window. ControlUp are also working on a modern Remote Control solution, but this will only be available with the Solve product, which the user doesn't have access to for another 3 years.

Variations in Logons/Logoffs with Data from Three Columns?
The user asked if data the same from three columns, as all data points from the computer tends to be captured in 5 minute aggregation. It was suggested that with a 24 hour report window, the machines may have some variation with logons/logoffs, especially considering an average user of 7 at one time on the 130 servers in the folder. The user was left unsure about this.

ControlUP Monitoring: Combining CVAD Logon Times with FSLogix Integration without UPM? Supported Configuration?
A user asked about running FSLogix and UPM together without issues. It was suggested to not use Director for logon times as ControlUp is more accurate and to focus on the Windows logon time. It was also recommended to use the logon duration analysis script provided by ControlUp and establish a baseline. Additionally, FSLogix integration interrogates a remote file share every 5 minutes and does not provide free space info, other than that it can be requested via Solve UserVoice. Community Benchmarks Implementation and Overall User Experience Score in Insights?
The user asked if Community Benchmark stats are available only in the Insights > Logon Duration tab, and if there is a benchmark score for overall user experience that combines UX metrics. It was clarified that there is no UX score benchmark yet, but it is part of ControlUp's roadmap. Additionally, CPU/RAM/IOPS usage benchmark is shown in the App Trends report.

How Can I Generate a Report for IOPS and/or Read/Write Latency for VMware Datastores?
A user asked how to get a report for iops and/or read/write latency for a VMware datastore. It was suggested to use the Host Trends report in ControlUp Insights/Solve or export schedules. A trigger with thresholds can also be used along with the exports or export-cuquery to indicate when the datastore is slow and report back. Host Stress showed latency of almost 1.3 sec. for read and writes.

Why is My Advanced Trigger in ControlUp Not Functioning Correctly for Long-Running Processes?
A user was having trouble with a trigger set up to identify a process that has been running too long, resulting in either false positives or no action taken. Suggestions were made to set up a scheduled trigger with invoke-cuquery and possibly use invoke-cuaction with Remote PowerShell for the killing of the process. A suggestion was also made to open a support ticket. Another user also highlighted the filter on Start Time in the GUI as not being useful for the things they needed it for.

Why is My IOP Server Adding 3600s to the Login Time Since the Time Change?
A user asked about the impact of the recent time change in France on their IOP servers, with their login time being 3600s different. Following a procedure provided, they were informed that while it is possible to set the time zone, it wouldn't affect the logon duration. It was then suggested that this is an issue with the agent version, the 8.6.0.192, which should be updated. VSO 89643 on Userville was mentioned as addressing the daylight savings issue, though the portal is only available for on-prem customers. The user should also restart the agent for the changes to take effect.
