Accessing Device Events Through PowerBI using ControlUp API

Machine/Computer Statistics Report Discussion on ControlUp
There was a discussion about the Machine/Computer Statistics report and the lack of "Max" columns. It was mentioned that the averaged metric values seem watered down and a user asked if there is another Insights report available for this data. It was suggested to use the Metrics as: dropdown. The aggregation for both Insights and the new architecture is the same - flat 24 hours or a selected timeframe, not taking into account a user's workday currently.

Missing “Max” columns in Insights Host Statistics report
A user reported that the Host Statistics .CSV file from Insights no longer contains the "Max" columns. They asked if there is another report on Insights that can provide this data. Another user suggested changing the settings to "max" to see the maximum values again. No resolution is yet known.

ControlUp Latest GA Version for MacOS: Missing Features and Solutions
A user installed the latest GA version of ControlUp for MacOS and did the initial config for screensharing and admin control. However, they were unable to see any Installed Applications, Missing Patches, or Power Events using DEX on a Windows PC. Another user confirmed that these features should be available, and checked with a Mac developer to clarify. It turns out that Missing Patches and Installed Applications reports are not available for MacOS, and a UserVoice feature request can be helpful. The Installed Apps report supports MacOS with the latest 2.14 agent version, while only Power Events is missing. A Mac developer will be consulted for more information and the documentation will be updated.

macOS WiFi Issue with ControlUp 2.14 Agent
Some users have reported not being able to see the WiFi AP name on macOS devices with the 2.14 agent. This issue is being addressed in the latest release of the agent, 2.14.0.1770 (RC2), and ControlUp is working on a fix before the 2.14 GA.

Understanding DEX User Session Details – Explaining CPU Utilization Percentage Breakdowns
A discussion about the DEX User Session Details reports showing 2 lines on the CPU graph - 1 for computer % utilization and 1 for user %. Troubleshooting App Crashes on Windows 11 Devices
Users discussed issues with MS Teams, Edge, and Chrome crashing on Windows 11 devices. The event log showed a Fault bucket event without a corresponding 1000 event, indicating a possible app vendor issue. The ControlUp team has alerted Microsoft and is working to find a solution. The team has also created an alert for the 1001 event, but it does not provide helpful information for resolving the problems.
